“Great little cottage with all you need for your break.”

Clean and tidy cottage, with main road right outside, but DID INTERFERE with our comfort as there is a 30mph speed limit on the road. Really enjoyed staying here. Thanks.

Upon entering, you will arrive into a freshly designed kitchen, elevated by its excellent features and marble effect which graces the worktops.

With the addition of a woodburner, you can enjoy the warm ambience all-year-round.

The next floor leads up to a modern bathroom tied together with a freestanding bath and a separate shower, so you can get ready in the way that suits you.

Choose from two bedrooms for a peaceful night’s sleep, two doubles are classically presented with a splash of colour.

The first includes hanging space for clothes, whilst the second benefits from a wardrobe, set of drawers and a modern desk for you to make use of.

About the location

CATTON

Allendale 1.5 miles; Hexham 9 miles; Allenheads 9 miles; Newcastle 32 miles.

The village of Catton, with a pub that serves food, is situated less than two miles from the town of Allendale in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town of Allendale was once the centre of a busy lead mining area, and many relics of the mining era remain around the area. Catton is ideally placed for access to Carlisle to the west, Hexham to the east or the Roman Wall just to the north. There are lots of walks and unspoilt villages in the surrounding North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is an ideal location for exploring the surrounding countryside or travelling further north to the glorious Heritage Coastline.

Note: pets to be kept downstairs.
