Surrounded by the magnificent open fields of the Northumberland countryside whilst resting within easy touring distance of the Northumberland Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this group of idyllic single-storey cottages offer the perfect base for an unforgettable holiday exploring this spectacular part of the country. Each adorned with wonderfully warm and traditional interiors, the cottages can be found hosting an inviting living/dining room and an attractive country-style kitchen with solid oak cabinets that host a plethora of handy electrical appliances, answering all of your self-catering needs. At the end of the day, guests can retire to the darling bedrooms with oak furnishings and pretty floral patterns. There is a communal courtyard where guests can relax in the summer sun and embrace their stunning countryside setting, as well as ample off-road parking. When ready to leave behind your homely cottage, there is so much adventure awaiting you right on the doorstep. Wooler is a delightful, historic market town on the banks of the River Till, one of the tributaries of the Tweed, nestling in the foothills of the Cheviots which form part of the Pennine Way. Known locally as 'The Gateway to The Cheviots', Wooler has a selection of hotels and eating places and offers a magnificent location for exploring the whole of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Situated on the edge of the Northumberland National Park, Wooler is just a short drive away from the historic town of Alnwick with its famous Castle and Gardens, and the well preserved Garrison town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Chillingham Castle with its ancient herd of wild white cattle and Coldstream, just over the Scottish border, are also a short drive away.

any dissatisfaction or noted damage or malfunction should be reported and discussed with the complex management immediately.

Damage and breakages are the total responsibility of the guests and should be reported to the Management of Akeld prior to departure.
The guest will be responsible/liable for the cost of replacement of any breakages or damage on a like for like basis (replacing with new items) on an indemnity basis. NOTIFICATION immediately of all problems to management is imperative
