One of the single beds was creaky. The sofa was full of mould. There is peeling paint by the entrance door and in corner of kitchen which suggests damp in the house. Despite this the house continues to be listed by Sykes. The window frames at the back of the property were dirty. There was mould on the bath. The boiler adjacent to the main bedroom was so noisy whenever the hot water was run. The decking in the garden was so slippy which almost caused an accident. The downstairs doors opened unless you firmly shut them. The bin outside was already full when we arrived. The property is in a general state of disrepair with parts of it being unclean. We returned home after staying for just two nights of the four we booked and a refund was refused despite all these issues. Avoid this house & booking with Sykes.
