    Lots of plus points - it was spotlessly clean, spacious, warm and comfortable and, of course, the view from the lounge window was fantastic. The bed was very comfortable too. It was a great help to have clear instructions for use,with photos, for all the appliances. The information file was very comprehensive. Details like plenty of hangers in the wardrobes were also appreciated. There were just a few small things that we would have liked eg hairdryer, small milk jug, chopping board (we ...

Details like plenty of hangers in the wardrobes were also appreciated. There were just a few small things that we would have liked eg hairdryer, small milk jug, chopping board (we only had the bread board), tray. We didn't expect to have to buy things like salt/pepper as our previous rented property had these basics. Given the price of the property, we were also disappointed that we had to provide our own towels. But it was a lovely flat and we would very much like to return to it.

Situated just 4 miles east of Alnwick, Alnmouth is a charming resort popular with golfers and those seeking a peaceful holiday. The village lies on a narrow spit of land between the River Aln and the North Sea and was originally the port for Alnwick.
