“When we arrived there were several bits of dog mess in the garden.”

The bins were a mess. We spent 20 minutes sorting them. Things chucked in withopen wrappers. Sorting mouldy stuff into black sacks and making sure the right stuff was in the recycling bin. Generally the place was tidy inside. As lots if others have said the Kitchen is very basic, the plug has no chain and stick in the hole. It needs replacing. The oven was smoky and could do with a proper clean. The bed on the main bedroom was very uncomfortable the springs have gone in the mattress ...

We did enjoy the stay in Alnmouth it's a fantastic location but would probably stay in a different cottage next time.
