    “We loved this cottage!”

Yes, it’s a little battered around the edges, but it was very comfortable with everything you could possibly need for an affordable seaside break. We enjoyed the free view tv on the dark evenings and made use of the games in the cupboard. I did bring a novel home with me but will leave one next time! It was wonderful to have everything provided for the wood burner but the weather was so fabulous during half term that we didn’t need to light it. A washing machine instead of the downstairs ...

A washing machine instead of the downstairs toilet would’ve been useful, and (as mentioned before in the reviews) do something about the upstairs bathroom door! But these are minor things and certainly didn’t affect our stay. We were mum, grandma and two under 12s. Alnmouth is delightful and we have been many times but the first time to Percy Cottage. We will certainly be back to this cottage
