The property

This delightful home is positioned in the Northumberland seaside town of Beadnell, on a peaceful residential cul-de-sac.

Perfect for families seeking a break to the coast, Shore Cottage, which is only a short stroll from the glorious stretch of beach that is Beadnell Bay, offers a beautiful haven to stay.

Off-road parking is available just outside the property when you arrive, making it simple for you to unload your items.

Enter the open-plan living area, which is light and spacious, and take a seat on the sofa to talk about your travel itinerary.

As the appointed chef rustles up a delectable feast with the help of the electric oven, hob, fridge, and freezer, prepare the dining table for a heart feast.

Enjoy the enclosed patio garden, which has a table and chairs from which you can relax and enjoy a drink while the kids play on the lawn. Before retiring to one of the bedrooms, wash away the day in the family bathroom, choosing between a lazy soak in the bath or refreshing shower. The main bedroom has a double bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom.

For the kids, there is a bunk room and a twin room too. Beadnell beach is just a short stroll away and one of the best places along the coastline for a variety of watersports or to relax and take it all in.

The area is picturesque due to the rocky outcrops and sand dunes, and there are several good walking routes that make it easy to explore the area from the doorstep.

After you've worked up an appetite, get some fresh fish and chips or go to your neighbourhood pub for a glass of bubbly.

Get in the car and drive to Alnwick, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, and Bamburgh Castle, so much just around the corner to explore. If you're hoping to view a variety of animals and unusual animals, the Farne Islands and Northumberland Country Zoo are ideal.

Shore Cottage offers a great getaway any time of the year.

About the location

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.

Note: This property is now a member of the ocean club and spa in seahouses so visitors can get (paid) access to the facilities.
Note: There is now a chest freezer in the garage
