“Beautiful, really well equipped cottage in a quiet location but within easy reach of the coast and wonderful beaches.”
It's worth noting that the bedroom upstairs has no door so is open to the stairs and corridor to the kitchen/living area downstairs. It also has a shower cubicle with a sliding door in the ensuite so it can be tight to get into if you're larger. The beds are very comfortable and all the furniture is lovely quality. It also has a shower cubicle with a sliding door in the ensuite so it can be tight to get into if you're larger. The beds are very comfortable and all the furniture is lovely quality. Everything is supplied and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need including a Nespresso machine and a large freezer. The welcome pack has tea, coffee, milk and biscuits along with a sponge, a cloth, some dishwasher tablets, bin bags and a small washing up liquid. Garden perfect for a dog, fully enclosed with a hosepipe. Loads of DVDs and books, some games and local info. Would have been nice to have an initial supply of logs for the log burner. Heating easy to adjust and cottage was lovely and warm. Easy parking for two cars in the courtyard outside and easily got a supermarket grocery delivery. So peaceful and on a clear night the stars are incredible. Dog friendly pubs to recommend The Coach Inn, locally, The Masons Arms, Warkworth and The Northumberland Arms, Felton. Highly recommend Birsley Cottage and hope to return.
