Enjoying countryside views and well-positioned near the Northumberland National Park, Maple Tree Cottage pays homage to its origins, featuring beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, and an inviting interior.

Park up to the roadside and make your way on foot to your new abode.

Enter into the open-plan living space where you'll locate a traditionally-styled kitchen, a dedicated dining area, and plush seating to relax upon with the woodburning stove alight.

To the rear you'll find a handy, external utility, with an adjoining sunroom to bask within, with a morning coffee or late-night tipple in hand.

If the weather allows, take advantage of your private garden, and dine alfresco, before completing your nightly routine in the sleek, ground-floor shower room.

Two well-appointed bedrooms await upstairs, a king-size and single, where you can rest ahead of your Northumberland itinerary.

In the village itself you'll locate a convenience store and two pubs, serving delicious and traditional food, whilst further amenities lie north in Alnwick.

Enveloped by characterful properties and National Trust sites, spend your coming days touring the Brinkburn Priory and Manor House, and discovering the magnificent country house of Cragside, whilst Northumberland Zoo is a car journey away, ideal for families.

Brimming with pretty landscapes, nature-filled walking trails and cycling routes, be sure to traverse the National Park, or head to the Northumberland Coast AONB, sure to stop off at the sweeping terrain of Alnmouth Beach, Seahouses shoreline, and Bamburgh Beach.

Closer to home you'll also find the Bailiffgate Museum, The Alnwick Garden, and Alnwick Castle, worth visiting whilst in the area, before returning home for sundowners.

All of this awaits at Maple Tree Cottage.
