“Hi we absolutely love your place.”

It is our second visit and hope to return again next year. Just a couple of things that may be worth thinking about: A new bathroom lock ( we were 4 friends so had to sing lol) The bathroom window doesn’t shut properly The shower is a little juddery - although still perfectly functional A tin opener. Non of these things detracted from our stay. Loved it and would definitely recommend . It has got to have one of the best views in Northumberland and it is such a pleasure to wake up to it ...

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Links View. Thank you for pointing out those issues. The lock on the door and window locks in the bathroom can be temperamental in this old building and we will look into sorting this out. We do endeavour to make sure the kitchen is always fully equipped and the missing tin opener has been replaced since your stay. We hope that you will come again! All the best, Heidi and Jo Property Owner

About the location

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
