“Beautiful view from the living room, Good TV with netfix, nicely furnished and well equipped kitchen, very well situated for the beach and the local pubs and shop with easy parking.”

Downside. The third bedroom is disappointing because there is no window only a high glass panel connected to the main bedroom which luminates the room when trying to sleep. But mostly because there is no radiator so rather cold for our youngest in January, we had to leave the door open to let warmth in however the radiator in the hall also didn't work. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your feedback and highlighting these issues. The third bedroom is usually warm (as it is situated in the middle of the house) but the fan heaters provided can be used to heat the room when the weather is cold. The hot tap water and hall radiator issue has now been resolved. We hope you will come again. All the best, Heidi and Jo. Property Owner

About the location

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
