“I contacted the owners regarding everything whilst there.”
It made no difference. Here is what I sent, I’m happy to provide pictures. I wouldn’t be sending people to this please until it has a deep clean. We found food under sofas too. Gutted at the money we spent and had to spend more spending time away from the lodge! Hi Just a message before checkout tomorrow. The hot tub needs a deep clean, we unfortunately haven't been able to get the use out of it as it's just filthy, there's scum line all around it. We've also spent the day in the park on Friday and there's been no high winds it's been 25 degrees of bliss. There's seat cushions missing also. Cushions outside also could do with a wash, quite stained and covered in bird poo (surely this would have been noticed with housekeeping today at change over). It’s disgusting, we’ve had to avoid sitting out there all weekend, a shame because the weather has been great! I'm just updating you guys on this so it's not a shock when we leave a review at the end of our stay tomorrow. We are also aware this is a pet friendly lodge but between check ins house keeping really should leave windows open as the smell of dog was very very strong as we walked in and throughout. It's a very well equipped lodge (apart from no iron which we went out and bought. We made the most of it by spending out days away from the lodge (defeats the purpose of why we booked it) but VERY unhappy with the facilities and the cleanliness for how much we paid. Janie
