“When I booked this property I was under the impression that it was it was in an isolated position, as suggested by the photograph.”
However, it was, in fact surrounded by other properties, some actually overlooking the house. Don't get me wrong, the area was a quiet one, and the people we met there were lovely; it was, though, not what we were looking for. If we had been made aware that the house was in such a situation we would not have booked it.
The house itself was first class. It was beautifully decorated, very well equipped and had a lovely garden. The owner, Paul, was a very polite and attentive host, without actually bothering us. It is, in fact, probably the nicest property that we've stayed in. We did have a nice time, however, were initially disappointed with the location, and felt that we had been misled. Also, although the house is dog friendly, they are not allowed upstairs.
