    “We had an issue with the hot tub at the beginning of the holiday which was sorted promptly.”

    Lovely, very spacious lodge, one of the largest we've stayed in. Well furnished throughout. Warm and comfortable for a family of 5 plus a baby, (although we realised that 1 bathroom is not enough! ) The reason for only giving 5 stars is the parks position next to the very busy A1. Although well situated for visiting Alnwick and Morpeth in particular, it was a nightmare driving out of the park. The lodge is also at the front of the park, so there is a constant drone of traffic, which did ...

Welcome Hjem Log Cabin is a detached, Finnish log cabin settled on the Felmoor Park in the heart of the Northumberland countryside.

Boasting a decked veranda with hot tub and furniture, plus a spacious interior, Log Cabin is a wonderful escape for a family of six and two dogs, providing a heart-warming base in Northumberland.

The open-plan living space is the social hub of the home; gather on the sofas and chat about the day’s activities or move into the kitchen and start preparing a hearty dish, assisted by a range of appliances.

In the middle of the room stands the dining table where you can toast to a rugged escape over a home-cooked dish.

As the evening draws to a close, catch your rest within one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms.

Escape to the veranda and relax on the furniture whilst you appreciate the countryside views or take a dip in the hot tub and soothe your aching muscles.

On-site there is a bar/restaurant where you can enjoy a night off cooking, whilst the nearby village of Felton boasts a popular Artisan bakery and highly recommended Restaurant and Pub.

For days out, head to the historic market town of Morpeth and browse a range of independent shops, whilst the market town of Alnwick can’t be missed, home to the striking Alnwick Castle which was used at the filming location for Harry Potter and Downton Abbey, along with the beautiful Alnwick Garden boasting over 4000 different plants and the largest collection of Japanese Taihaku cherry blossoms in the world.

Alnwick 10 miles.

The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
