    “Very clean and modern.”

Unfortunately the apartment is on the upper floor within the roof area. This made the roof angle at 45 degrees. Being six foot tall entailed me banging my head more than a dozen times the first day and several times more during the week. Even the maintenance man when he came to replace the bedside light bulb, very quickly after reporting it, his opening question was "how many times have you banged your head?"Had we known about the angled roof we would have opted for somewhere else. The apartment was very clean and the bathroom exceptionally so. A couple of points to mention. Perhaps it would be better if the TV was on a moveable angle bracket so able to watch from the bed. Provision of a washing-up brush would be a good idea. We spent some time watching the Rugby and ended up calling out CROUCH every time one of us stood uo! HA. Other than the roof everything was more than satisfactory. .

We appreciate your feedback. In the information section it does say it’s on the second floor and the photos show the ceiling being on an angle. Property Owner

About the location

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
