    “What a fantastic property!”

    The pictures don't really do this justice. An amazing base for our summer break. Well provisioned kitchen (sometimes it seems like no one has ever actually cooked on a holiday house!), great ambience, lovely garden. Only fault is that the driveway is a bit pot holey, but you can use the gate at the rear of the property.

The bedrooms consist of a double and a twin along with a shower room and a cloakroom. Outside, there is a large garden with furniture, a summer house and pond, as well as off-road parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Apologies, this is a non-smoking property. Within 2.8 miles there is a shop and within 1.2 miles, a pub. For a stunning setting in the countryside of Northumbria, escape to 4 North Whitehouse Cottages. Please note: Children must be always supervised due to the pond in the garden. Note: One of the beds in the twin room can be converted to a spacious double. Note: Welcome basket with local produce kindly provided.

MORPETH

Newcastle 14 miles; Alnwick 19 miles.

The lovely market town of Morpeth is situated centrally in Northumberland and is an ideal base from which to reach the coast or countryside. Offering the remains of an historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is also ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, with miles of golden sands, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north, with its castle and gardens and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking amidst beautiful countryside.
