the garden was good and the local walks superb, especially in the valley. Close to Embelton and Newton beaches and easy access to A1/Alnwick it's really well located. The tower is a local attraction that for history buffs is worth a visit. A shield maiden and an Annandale Reiver would not normally have been allowed in, but this time we made it.
