Leila “The property is in a lovely location & the views are beautiful.”
The property was plenty big enough & spacious, which was nice not being on top of each other (family 4, teenage kids). The beds were really comfortable & I personally slept really well! I was however disappointed with the cleanliness of the property & felt it just needed a bit of TLC. So much potential for this property. They were marks on the sofa, but we covered these with our own blankets, so didn’t bother us. We did have a problem with the heating that we were made aware of the morning ...
The property was plenty big enough & spacious, which was nice not being on top of each other (family 4, teenage kids). The beds were really comfortable & I personally slept really well! I was however disappointed with the cleanliness of the property & felt it just needed a bit of TLC. So much potential for this property. They were marks on the sofa, but we covered these with our own blankets, so didn’t bother us. We did have a problem with the heating that we were made aware of the morning of arrival. It just meant we had to turn temperature up on side of radiators, which wasn’t ideal & hopefully the thermostat has been sorted. We also noticed that whenever the tap ran in the bathroom, the tap in the kitchen would come on, Strange! Would I stay here again, yes I would for the location & views.

Glenavon is a very attractive property with magnificent panoramic sea views overlooking the coast, the Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.

A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few.
