“Fab location in the heart of everything with great outside space - nice little welcome basket with biscuit's and crisps.”

However the boiler on 3 occasions didn’t produce hot water and it hasn’t been serviced this year according to records on the boiler which is not good - the curtains In the main bedroom didn’t stop any light, the exit sign in the main bedroom was like Blackpool eliminations difficult to sleep -bed very soft and uncomfortable as we both rolled in to the middle. It a shame as it’s a great little place but a little tweet here and there needed.

Hi thank you for taking time in leaving feedback. i do wish you had contact us during stay about boiler and we would if had heating engineer attend. The boiler was serviced and tested in March as is this a stipulation with Sykes and our insurance company test does not need displayed on boiler, sytem is old and is due to be replaced during a shutdown period, the emergency light in main bedroom is law for holiday lets so nothing can be done about that . We have had no other feedback on curtains (which are lined) or comfort of the bed so will monitor over coming months feedback kind regards Paul Property Owner

About the location

AMBLE

Warkworth 1 mile; Alnmouth 4 miles.

The bustling little seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters. There is a fish centre on the side of the harbour that is now primarily a shell fish hatchery to re-stock levels of lobster and other shell fish, this sells local fish and is open to the public. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with a large population of terns, puffins and eider ducks and boat trips around the island can be arranged. The pretty coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster and numerous superb beaches are only a short drive away, whilst picturesque Warkworth with its castle, charming Alnwick with its castle and award-winning gardens, and the National Trust’s Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.
